The process of application for a Canadian passport application or renewal has changed as of October 2007.

With the new guidelines, your doctor is no longer required to sign as a guarantor for your Canadian passport application.

You may use most adult individuals known to you, including family members, who have a valid Canadian passport, as guarantors for your application. More details are provided for you in the links below.

As such, the provision of guarantor services by physicians is no longer required, and will no longer be provided at this clinic. However, with the new simplified passport application process, this should not cause you any inconvenience.
